Looking for a portlight? Rob Snel offers aluminium and brass portlights with a diameter of 200 mm, 250 mm and 300 mm! The portlights feature 12 mm thick clear and tempered glass. Because the glass is tempered, it can take a good hit!More information
A portlight is a round window mainly used in industrial or ship doors. A portlight consists of tempered, clear glass surrounded by a metal ring. Portlights are also called portholes, but they cannot open and the application is different. Other terms used are deadlight, sidelight and side scuttle.
In addition to a metal ring, a portlight has a so-called counter ring around it. This allows the round window to be fixed with bolts to both sides of the hole in the door.
Portlights offer the following benefits:
Brass portlight 300mm diameter
Aluminium portlight 200mm diameter
Our range includes portlights of aluminium and brass. An aluminium portlight is available with a diameter of 200 mm and 250 mm. The brass portlight is available with a diameter of 200 mm, 250 mm and 300 mm.
By default, all our portlights have 8, 10 or 12 drill holes (depending on the diameter). But the portlights can be delivered undrilled by request.
